The Intra-Oral Camera allows us to generate 3D images of your teeth and bite without taking the messy impressions that may cause nausea or gagging. That allows the doctors to twist and turn the images of your teeth and the bite, and view them from all directions, even from behind the teeth. It enables the doctors to better diagnose misaligned teeth and jaw relationship, and to formulate a more thorough and realistic treatment plan with greater confidence and better precision. Our doctors can use the images to simulate the treatment processes and show you the expected treatment outcome even before the treatment starts. Your doctor will also be able to show you the simulated treatment for your better understanding of the treatment process and treatment outcome.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays use a digital image capture device in place of traditional film, sending an image immediately to a computer. The result is a highly-detailed image of the teeth the mouth, and its contrast and resolution can be enhanced to more easily diagnose dental problems and determine the best treatment with significantly less radiation, often times less than the amount you receive under the sun for 10 minutes. Our digital X-ray machines are the latest and have the best of what current technology can offer!

Virtual Smile Design

We offer Virtual Smile Design services. Orthodontic Virtual Smile Design uses digital tools to simulate tooth movements before treatment begins. It involves 3D scans, software modeling, and customized aligner or bracket setups. 3D Printing

3D printing in orthodontics is used to create custom dental models and appliances like clear aligners, retainers, and braces parts or auxiliary appliances. Orthodontic staff members scan a patient’s teeth digitally, then print precise models or devices that fit the patients’ teeth perfectly. Sometimes a third-party lab may be required if metal appliances are directly printed in 3D. This technology speeds up treatment, improves comfort, and makes the process more accurate compared to traditional methods, potentially reducing the number of office visits and the overall treatment time.

MARPE Appliances

MARPE (Miniscrew-Assisted Rapid Palatal Expander) appliances are used to widen the upper jaw by applying force through mini-implants anchored in the palate. They are effective for expanding the jaw in teens and adults, improving bite alignment and airway space. Upper jaw expansion used to be limited to young children who are still growing. MARPE has now made the upper jaw expansion possible in non-growing patients, effectively increasing the scope of orthodontic treatment to include those cases formally only possible to treat with jaw surgeries.

TADs anchorage

TADs (Temporary Anchorage Devices) are small titanium screws placed in the jawbone to serve as stable anchors for moving teeth during orthodontic treatment. The procedure of TADs insertion is minimally invasive and requires little recovery time. TADs provide precise control of tooth movement without relying on other teeth for support, therefore reducing side effects of some orthodontic treatment mechanics and the compromises in the treatment outcomes. The use of TADs has largely increased the scope of orthodontic treatment to include those cases where they can only be treated satisfactorily with jaw surgeries in the past. The use of TADs often leads to better treatment outcomes.

Phase I functional appliances

Phase I functional appliances are used in early orthodontic treatment (typically ages 6–10) to guide jaw growth and correct bite issues. They help create space for incoming permanent teeth and address developing skeletal imbalances.

Removable retainers are clear or wire appliances that can be taken out and worn as directed to maintain teeth alignment after braces.
Fixed retainers are thin wires bonded behind the teeth, providing continuous support to keep teeth in place long-term.
